Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council Foundation (DFWHC) has selected Agency Creative to launch an integrated infection awareness campaign in the Metroplex area.

DFWHC Foundation is a Los Colinas-based healthcare association that partners with North Texas hospitals in a collaborative alliance to advocate with state and local governments and to inform the community on important health issues.

“The DFWHC Foundation has called on Agency Creative to help raise awareness of an infection that is spreading rapidly in our communities,” explained Mark Wyatt, president and founder of Agency Creative. “C-Diff is a nasty germ that has been linked to more than 14,000 deaths in the U.S. each year.”

The C-Diff awareness initiative will include strategic development, logo, tagline, website, in-hospital posters, direct mail, radio and television. The mass marketing portion of the campaign will focus on explaining how C-Diff is spread and what we each can do to help prevent it.

“Our committee selected Agency Creative because their deep healthcare marketing background and their in-depth knowledge of the C-Diff situation,” said Patti Taylor, Director of Quality & Patient Safety, DFWHC Foundation.

The integrated campaign will be funded by a federal contract designed to improve community infection awareness, communicate infection prevention processes and educate hospitals on disinfection best practices.

“This is serious business,“ concluded Wyatt. “Agency Creative is going to do our part to help stop the spread of this terrible infection.”
